Monster reinvents itself. The fifth generation brings a fresh guise and a new heart: an updated design, the new V2 twin engine and cutting-edge electronic technologies.
The continuous evolution of a spirit that has never changed, a legend that has put generations of motorcyclists on the road. Just as it did thirty years ago, Monster continues to embody the very essence of Ducati.

The new Monster updates the Ducati legend with a modern design and advanced technological solutions, while retaining the essence that makes it an icon: simple, pure, unmistakable.

890 cc of pure twin-cylinder excitemen: at just 54.4 kg, the new V2 engine ensures that the Monster weighs 4 kg less than the previous generation. And thanks to the Intake Variable Timing system, engine response is both exhilarating at high rpm and very enjoyable at low range.

Monster is ultra intuitive and fun to ride, even in the city thanks to its smooth engine, generous steering angle and lightness, a particular strength. As the pace picks up, the suspension, brakes and electronics ensure sports performance. The new Monster is agile, precise and exhilarating.

Power, precision and lightness come together to offer the perfect balance of technology and riding pleasure. The new 111 hp V2 engine, a race-derived electronics package and a totally updated design.
